PlayStation Promo Contains Teases for Resident Evil 4, Sly Cooper, Silent Hill, and More

Last calendar week Sony kicked off their big PlayStation Showcase with a new "Play has no limits" promo, featuring a variety of recognizable actors, like the recently-departed Michael One thousand. Williams. It was a cool enough little video, but most chop-chop memory-holed it once the real trailers started dropping. Well, maybe we shouldn't accept been and then quick to dismiss it, equally the video was absolutely bursting at the seams with Easter eggs that accept taken dedicated fans several days to identify (and there are probably more to find yet).

You can curlicue on down for a full rundown of everything that's been found then far (cheers to Redditor Yazeed 9 for rounding all of these up).  Start, here's the PlayStation promo over again (jump to the times indicated next to each bullet point to notice the Easter egg).

• Hogwarts Legacy logo (0:21)
• InFamous Karma symbol (0:21)
• Tekken (0:27)
• Dragon Quest slime (0:32)
• Rough outline of what appears to be a Castlevania sprite (:32)
• Sonic ring (0:34)
• Last Fantasy Sixteen (0:38) – This one's interesting equally it says Valisthea (the earth of FF16) 06:16. Could they be hinting at a June release engagement for FF16?
• Pac-Man (0:forty)
• Sly Cooper logo (0:58)
• Alan Wake (0:59)
• Final Fantasy vii Remake (i:03)
• Street Fighter (1:13) – Symbols on building friction match those on Ryu'due south glove.
• Crash Bandicoot (1:15) – Wumpa fruit sticker.
• Deathloop (ane:18)
• Resident Evil iv (1:33) – Los Iluminados symbol on the wall.
• Helldivers (1:33)
• Ace Combat (1:38)
• Silent Colina two (1:56) – This is probably the sneakiest reference of them all. See that little radio on the guard's desk? Sure does expect like the radio from Silent Loma ii, doesn't it?

So in that location you have it – if these are all teases for actual things Sony and partners accept in the works, and not just cruel fan taunting, then the PS5 has quite the lineup to look forward to. Merely brand Silent Loma and Sly Cooper the real bargain, and I'm happy.
